Read pp. 3 - 7 of Weitzer, Legalizing Prostitution (on blackboard under "content") and then answer the following questions.

You will need no more than a sentence or two to anwer questions 1-3; question 4 may take three or four sentences.

1) The author uses the phrase “folk wisdom.”  Using your own words, describe what you believe the author means by that phrase?
