Jane Bautista, mother of Jason and Matthew was always a disturbed woman even as a young adult. From the outside, Jane had a good life consisting of wealth, good looks, and intelligence, but what was soon to be revealed was that Jane had dark demons hidden within her. Behind closed doors, she was greatly troubled. Her first marriage brought Jane immense resentment due to her husband committing suicide in front of her. Along with this resentment came Jason. Jason’s birth and similarities to his father brought Jane to the beginning of an ever-lasting abusive relationship between herself and her children. Jane disturbingly beat Jason from the very start of his childhood leading to his early adulthood. Matthew, her second son received the better side of Jane. But that wouldn’t always be the case. Jason and Matthew struggled in life due to their mother’s abuse and later developed schizophrenia. Jane’s mind gradually filled with paranoia and crazy theatrics. Her ability to distinguish between reality and fantasy diminished as days went by. Her two sons suffered for years until one day a decision was made to bring an end to their frantic lives. Fantasizing of the life they could have Jane’s brutal murder rested in the hands of none other than her own two sons.
Amy was only 11 years old, Becky was 18. A simple errand put them in the wrong place at the wrong time and led to their demise. Becky reversed her vehicle out the store parking lot but she realized she had a flat tire. They got out of the car; two young men approached and offered to help. The small town life had not prepared Amy or Becky to protect themselves from the kind of evil embodied in the two creatures who slithered into their young lives. Jerry Jenkins and Ronald Kennedy: both Sociopaths…with a history of arrests and time in prison were too drunk and full of drugs that night. After a charade of "trying to fix the tire," the men said they couldn't do it and suggested that the girls leave their car so the men could drive them home until Kennedy shoved a knife against Becky's rib cage. The girls suffered unspeakable crimes by these men before being thrown from a bridge into the River. Becky miraculously survived, Amy sadly didn’t. Years later, author and journalist Ron Franscell can’t forget Wyoming’s most shocking story of abduction, rape, and murder. Neither could Becky, the surviving sister. The two men who violated her and Amy were sentenced to life in prison, but Becky’s demons kept haunting Becky and lead her to the same bridge where she’d lost her sister and committed suicide.
On the night of January 14, 2003, Jason strangled his mother. To keep authorities from identifying her body, he chopped off her head and hands. Jason Bautista felt like he had no other choice but to kill his own mother. He went through so much pain and torture, and he felt like this was the only way out. There were two cases that have recently happened that show that kids who suffer from pain and anger will one day crack and do something unruly and terrible. A 17-year-old boy named Tyler Bradley brutally killed his parents before having a house party while their bodies were still inside a bedroom. Tyler’s parents always argued and were always in fights. This shows that kids who are constantly in quarrels with their parents will one-day break down under pressure. Another example is the story of a young boy named Greg Ousley who in the middle of the night shot his parents with a shotgun in cold blood. Greg and his parents would also be fighting all the time and when things got out of hand, he would actually get physical with his father. His father would usually inflict more pain because he was bigger and stronger. Due to all of this hatred, Greg killed his parents in the middle of the night.
