1. You must have a first record on file at the Writing Center (you have to fill out a new record each semester). * If you don't have a first record on file, your email will be deleted

2. Download and read the CPE materials and practice test

3. Complete the sample questions (for Task I & Task II) and email your response to:  writing@jjay.cuny.edu

4. In your email, you must include your FULL name and the last 4 digits of your Social Security number with your response

5. A tutor will read your essays and email you a reply
