The Curriculum of the MPA Inspector General Program responds to the current and prospective standards of NASPAA, which accredits the program. It also responds to the Association of Inspectors General core competencies for inspectors general.

Our courses are offered using the Blackboard online instruction platform.

All of the features of Blackboard are accessed by logging into the system with your username and password. When you log in, you will reach your personal home page, which will provide links to each of the courses you are enrolled in, and a link to the Online Student Center. Within the Online Student Center, we maintain the following:

  • A discussion forum with the Program Director where students can communicate about the program. For example, discussions might cover issues like the scheduling of attendance at Association of Inspectors General Conferences, suggestions about program improvements, and questions about curricular requirements. Students can also commmunicate with the Program Director individually be email or telephone.
  • A discussion forum with the Program Administrator where students can communicate about program operational matters. For example, discussions might cover issues like the course registration, or options for payment of tuition. Students can also commmunicate with the Program Administrator individually be email or telephone.
  • A link to our program Career Center as well as the College's Career Services Center.
