This page contains Test III grades, Paper III grades and "unofficial" final course grades. Note that if you did not take Test III, it will show up as "0%" or, if you had extra credit, something close to it. The final grade is computed by dropping the lowest score. The remaining five grades are then summed and divided by five.

A = Raw score on Test III.

B = Decision theory extra credit.

C = Essay extra credit.

D = Percent grade on Test III = (A + B + C)/40.

E = Letter grade on Paper III.

F = Final course grade.

Thank you to everyone who provided useful comments on the course. Suggestions to make use of more real-life examples and in-class activities are well taken. Comparing the comments to those from previous semesters, I notice that I only get requests to stand still and be less animated in the Motivation course. My hunch is that it attracts more business majors, and that it involves a difference between communication styles in social science versus business.

Enjoy your summer!
