BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE FILE-NAMING CONVENTIONS FOR THIS COURSE (5%
penalty if you do not). THIS
IS ASSIGNMENT 26 Outline To get you started on your final paper, you will need to submit an one to two page outline that will not only map out your paper, but identify the direct quotations that you plan to use (see the essay assignment for direct quotation requirements). Some things your essay will need to have in it (in no particular
order); so you will want to flesh these out in your outline. B) a
concise thesis that answers the question
and explains how and why your argument is the best way to interpret
the evidence (e.g. "The 1937 massacre fits the pattern Ferguson
describes for reasons X,Y. and Z") Your outline will need to identify the ten quotations from the various sources (see the essay assignment) with which you plan to make your points (remember, you can't make a point without evidence). So put into your outline the quotations you plan to use and where in your paper they will appear. I will deduct seven points from your grade for the outline for every quotation under the 10 required minimum that's missing in your outline.
