1) The documentary suggests that the origins of the war on drugs can be found exclusively in the incentives for politicians and the police to wage such a war.
Write one paragraph describing what these incentives are (according to the documentary) for politicians and another describing what they are (according to the documentary for the police. Be sure to organize your paragraphs around the familiar cl/ev/wa format and include evidence in the form of direct quotations.
2) How did politicians respond to Len Bias' death and why? (according to the documentary)
3) The readings make clear that politicians found crucial support in certain communities--support that the video does not address. Explain what and who the video excludes in its telling of history of the "War on Drugs." Be sure to explain why that exclusion is significant.
