THIS
IS ASSIGNMENT 2
-----------------------------------
This assignment is very straightforward. You
will describe in a single paragraph which LIBRARY
resources (e.g., NOT Google, wikigobblygook,
etc...) that you used to identify your article. You will
need to identify the library database(s)
you employed, the search terms you used
within each of those databases, and how
you chose the article you finally settled on.
If any of this is new to you (that is, you've
only ever used google to do research--in essence missing
out on 4/5ths of what's available), you will want to spend
some time here:

SAMPLE ARTICLES SCHOLARLY ARTICLES:
Sometimes students have trouble knowing what constitutes
an academic article. An academic article should appear in
a scholarly journal (rather than just some website), with
a clearly identified author, publisher, and institutional
affiliation (e.g. "Author X teaches Islamic Studies
at Oxford University")
Here are some examples of scholarly articles:
Fadel, Mohammad. “Reinterpreting the Guardian’s
Role in the Islamic Contract of Marriage: the Case of the
Maliki School,” Journal of Islamic Law 3/1 (1998):
1-26.
Quick, Abdul Hakim. “Al-Mu’allaqa: The Muslim
Woman Between Divorce and Real Marriage,” Journal
of Islamic Law v. 3 (Spring/Summer 1998): 27-40.
Quraishi, Asifa. “Her Honor: An Islamic Critique of
the Rape Laws of Pakistan from a woman-sensitive perspective,”
Michigan Jounal of International Law v. 18 (Winter 1997):
287-320.
Fahmy, Khaled. “The Anatomy of Justice: Forensic Medicine
and Criminal Law in Nineteenth-Century Egypt,” Islamic
Law and Society, 6/2 (June, 1999): 224-271.
Shaham, Ron. “Custom, Islamic Law, and Statutory Legislation:
Marriage Registration and Minimum Age at Marriage in the
Egyptian Shari`a Court,” Islamic Law and Society,
2,3 (1995): 258-281.
